Susan Oliver Heard, Graduate Gemologist (GIA Carlsbad) and Rob Lavinsky, PhD, have collaborated to bring a museum quality exhibition to Cinnabar in San Antonio, TX of mineral specimens from around the globe. Previous projects by Dr. Lavinsky include the Perot Museum of art in Dallas and the Houston Museum of Natural Sciences mineral collection. 

Come get lost in Lapis City, Malachite from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Flourite formations from Illinois, liddicoatite tourmaline butterfly wings, and bronze works of functional art by Lawrence Stoller.

We will be hosting two lectures relating to geology and gemology including one with Rob Lavinsky in April 2019.
